Banquet "Specialist"

from The Fall EP by Way/ No Way

/

about

How I sarcastically act like my life is fine but in actuality I dislike having to be so dependent on my parents.

lyrics

School is for chumps and I don't think that it's for me
I'll switch between minimum paying jobs all of my life probably
And I'm not sad because while you work 40 hours a week I'll party all night and sleep till three
And while you have the money you have no time to enjoy it while I have the opposite fuck around at work but get no bonus

And I don't mind serving banquets for the rest of my life.
And I won't climb any cooperate ladder pouring wine or serving platters

You can't catch up in your monkey suit try to run but you'll still be behind
Just give up because I'm not being sarcastic I swear my life is ecstatic

I do the same shit on the weekends. Same places and same friends. I may not have the props you do, but I can drink until I think I do

And I don't mind serving banquets for the rest of my life.
And I won't climb any cooperate ladder pouring wine or serving platters
And I'm alright knowing that my mom will always help me when I run all out of money
And when I say that I promise you it's with my fingers crossed firmly right behind my back.
